Just a reminder that the EGM will be tomorrow from 7pm in Boyd Orr LT2.
The actual business should only take a few minutes, and then we can talk
about some photo stuff. I may do the impromptu talk i suggested last
week about exposure for dark club photography.
I gather from talking to people the last few days that the expectation
is Daniel Williams for President, Geoffrey Sneddon for Secretary, Sean
Anderson for Treasurer, Thomas Whitchurch for Events Co-Ordinator…
nobody has yet suggested that much interest in Technical Convenor.
It’s not too late if you’d like to be on the board. It’d be easier if
you announced the intention by email to guphotosoc@gmail.com but
tomorrow evening would also be fine.
It’s also important to note that not being on the board by no means
prevents you from doing photosoc things or indeed getting access to the
twitter/email account if you’ve been around for a while and are still
eager. In the past, non-board members have been very active!
See you all tomorrow, please don’t not come out of worrying that it will
be a long boring committee-style meeting; it won’t take long then we can
go to the pub! A good turnout for this would be a great start to a new
chapter in the big long book of Photosoc history.
